Eureka’s Season 4 is Keeping Things Fresh

The "whole new world" twist that set off this season of Eureka was either an act of genius or a desperate ploy to keep the show entertaining. Frankly, it could go either way, but so far, I am enjoying it immensely. I think the show creators have managed to take the familiar and turn it, just slightly, to give us something entertaining and different, without being so different that it ruins the show. They walked a fine line over the first few episodes of the season setting things up and now they’re really starting to pay off. Just a few of my favorite moments have been with the development of the non-relationship between Jo and Zane, and the Zoe twist. In fact, I’ve really enjoyed all the relationships this season.

I’m still anxious about what’s come, but overall, season 4 has been excellent! I could continue to watch this show for many, many years to come.
